Julie is a Certified Pilates Teacher with the Pilates Method Alliance. She received her initial training with Rael Isacowitz at BASI headquarters in California where she spent many years practicing and teaching Pilates and holistic health. As a Colorado native, she made her way back to complete the Master’s Program in Boulder at The Pilates Center. Julie encourages listening intuitively to the wisdom of the body. Her clients appreciate the attention she gives to precision with regard to movement and alignment as well as the continued instruction of proper breathing techniques that weave the practice together making the results more holistically profound. Julie’s Pilates experience ranges from post rehabilitation to sports conditioning. Her medical experience comes from being a Registered Nurse. She has hosted retreats, workshops, teacher trainings and continues to facilitate apprentice/mentor programs. As an athletic person who has had injuries herself, she has a deep appreciation for the transformational process Pilates can have on the body, mind and spirit! Her passion for Pilates is undeniable as she continues to be a student which keeps her instruction fresh and creative.

Cortney hopes to impart in each of her students a personal balance and understanding of his or her own potential through correct exercise and movement. Cortney’s approach teaches the body healthy alignment through Pilates. Growing up Cortney was surrounded by positive role models in the Pilates world. Her grandmother and teacher, second generation master, Barbara Huttner instilled in Cortney the basis of Pilates teachings. In turn, the benefits of Pilates have been mirrored in her as well as in her students. After graduating with a BFA, Cortney pursued her education of eastern and western exercise philosophies in correlation with her Pilates background, learning from master teachers Ron Fletcher and Rael Isakowitz.  She hopes to share her philosophy that life is movement.

Dina's passion for Pilates began at age nineteen when she became a student of the method to rehab a shoulder injury. Since being certified by the Pilates Center of Boulder in 1997, Dina has been teaching and running Pilates Studios for the past 10 years in Colorado and New York. Through her continued study of the Alexander Technique, physiology and Iyengar Yoga, Dina has an especially keen eye for spotting imbalances and working with her students to change poor postural habits. Good posture is crucial for maintaining muscular-skeletal balance which allows one to move with ease and without pain in all daily activities. Dina previously owned The Intelligent Body Pilates Studio in North Salem, NY where she has spent the last 5 years. Back in Colorado, Dina is excited to share her teaching and expertise with the Denver community!
